Mehboob Hassan was born at Dhubri Civil Hospital on 5th August 1999 to Moyful Begum & Abdus Samad Mollah, due to there being no medical facilities in his village, Eusuf Dewair Gaon (named after his forefather). His creative mind started suffocating him from a very early age, dealing with dyslexia and ADHD since childhood, and a surrounding that made him feel good for nothing, but he practiced visual art and poetry despite his mental condition making him suffer, and the suffering continued and grew into chronic depression and anxiety from the age of 14, diseases he was medically diagnosed with in 2025. Despite his dyslexia, he continued to write poetry with grammatical mistakes and wrote over 300 poems available online before completely giving up on poetry in 2026. He powered the creative spark in North East India for stand-up comedy before leaving it completely in 2026.
He destroyed more art than he preserved. Currently, he’s building 4D spaces and interactive art. He believes he can do something like that because he didn’t hold onto those drawings as a child and burnt them.
He practices art as a medium to speak, and he came to the conclusion that all art is a commodity if it’s not something entirely new. He doesn’t have a problem with art as a commodity. He, in fact, has no problem with anything as long as nobody interferes with his practice of creation.
When he was alive, he often used to say: “Let me create what I am supposed to, not something you would expect, not something that has forms. I am the son of Moyful, I embody patience, resistance and sacrifice. Let me be myself because even God is struck within the limits of natural laws. My thoughts aren’t. My thoughts despise the container they live in. I am becoming something that can move the initial domino of the chaos. The rest would be proceeded by data centers.”
Now that he’s dead, it’s funny that he’s not.
